BESPOKE COMMUNICATION

Our team at Get Better Books work closely with you to develop something that is truly bespoke and designed for your specialism and your institution.

We like to start  by having direct conversations with you and/or your team to best understand what you do and ascertain how things might be communicated better.

We like to take time so that we can understand what you do and so that the finished results can be truly useful. We believe that genuine collaboration can produce the best results.

INTERACTIVE

The books and communication design we create are playful and interactive.

The recipients are actively encouraged to colour, comment, write questions, draw and stick things in. This encourages a two way process from the outset.

This fun approach  delivers  important information about a childs treatment and care plan  and they learn as they play. This not only helps alleviate anxiety for the patient but it also helps the clinical team disseminate key information.

We have also found that its extremely useful for parents, siblings and classmates too! These communicatons become vital converation starters and ease the way through the whole process. It sounds simple and user friendly and we work very hard to make sure it is!

PLAY
SMART PLAY

Our creations are deliberately playful and interactive.

Funny, sometimes silly but always with the serious intent of helping the patient through their treatment journey.

As the patient plays and interacts vital information is imparted in carefully choreographed ways.

“My daughter is 7 years old and has just been put on the urgent waiting list for a heart transplant. The  team at GOSH gave her your lovely book on Thursday. Abigail has really enjoyed reading and colouring in the book, and is learning more about new hearts without realising it.

Its an absolutely fantastic book, thank you so much!”
